Regarding an address given to the King and printed in the London Gazette of 31 August congratulating him on the birth of his son (William IV). The author contests that in this address, the Common Council criticized the King without any specifics and that in the address they "tell the King, that unless his affairs are in a flourishing situation, that he is never to expect the smallest support or assistance from the city of London." He says that their behavior is not suited to their position.
