Condition of the book is GOOD; Leather cracked at front joint of spine but strings are still holding, rear hinge very good, 2 bookplates on front paste-down, a small one of David B. Ogden, & a larger one of H. Holland Edwards, Pennant Ereithlyn, North Wales, frontis is in excellent condition, text is very clean. Contents page lists also Book II, Remarks upon the Works of Erasmus, & Book III, Appendix, containing Extracts from Erasmus, and from other Writers, but this volume is only Book I, The Life of Erasmus.
