About This Item
Norfolk, CT: New Directions, 1938. First Edition. Boards. 1/500 copies beautifully printed in two colors at the University Press, Cambridge, Mass. 111pp. An early New Directions title. Warmly inscribed by the translator--in Latin--and signed and dated January 14, 1938. According to the colophon, the book was printed in January, thus this must have been among the first copies available for presentation. Very faint tanning of page edges, and light wear to corners and edges of boards, otherwise a very good, bright copy without the slipcase. Square 16mo.
