Folio Society, 2008. Hardcover. Very Good. 2008. First Edition Thus. 362 pages. No dust jacket, Folio edition with slipcase. Grey cloth with decorations and slipcase. Colour illustrated plates throughout. Binding remains firm. Pages are bright and clear with no visible markings. Boards have light edgewear with corner bumping. Mild crushing to spine, with occasional markings overall. Slipcase has moderate edge wear with markings to panels and scuffing to edges.

Synopsis

Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin was born in France in 1755 and died in 1826. Mary Frances Kennedy Fisher, author of The Art of Eating, was born in 1908 and died in 1992. Bill Buford, author of Heat, lives in New York City.
