Boston: Little, Brown, & Co., 1854. Two volumes, issued as part of the series, "The British Poets," and with the spine titles thus, but complete in and of themselves. 16mo. lxviii, 344 and iv, 366 pages, plus frontispiece portrait in vol. I. 4-page ads in vol. I before front free endpaper. Original dark brown cloth stamped in gilt and blind. [17.4 cm]. Heads of spines chipped, wear to spine tails and corners. Name on front pastedowns. Frontispiece foxed, but only occasional traces elsewhere; offsetting to first title page. Good plus. Reprint. Edward Young (1683-1675) is best known for his long poem, "Night Thoughts," which makes up nearly the whole of vol. I. This volume also includes "The Life of Edward Young," by Rev. J. Mitford.
