Original leather spine over marbled paper covered boards. Leather corners. Hardbound. Good. Autograph and stamped ownerships of Adam Guttinger (Lebanon, PA). Title continues: 'To Which Is Added A Plain, Practical System Of Conveyancing, Sufficiently Copious To Enable A Person Accurately To Draw Any Instrument Of Writing Appertaining To The Business Of A Conveyancer, Without Having Recourse To Any Other Work'. After service in the Navy, George Getz (1789-1853) became the proprietor of 'The Berks and Schuylkill Journal.' He later was a bookseller and publisher (in English & German).
