Various paginations, b&w photos and illustrations, in clean wraps with some rusting on staples and minor even toning, else all in very good condition. Issues present are nos. 9-14. Text in Spanish. Cuban journal of culture, theory, and revolution featuring a lively assortment of contributions across many topics. No 9. reprints the Regis Debray Prize-winning essay by Fernando Barral and the honorable mentions. No. 10 collects various works by Adolfo Sánchez Vásquez, Charles Bettelheim, José Lezama Lima, Roque Dalton, Alberto Moravia, and Jorge Serguera; No. 11 themed around the philosophy and practice of cybernetics. No. 12 on student rebellions, with topics and contributors including Ernst Fischer, the hippies, Margaret Randall, Mark Rudd, Carlos Monsiváis, the Columbia protests, Mai 68, Rudi Dutschke, Jean-Paul Sartre, declarations from the Cuban student unions and more; this issue includes both an essay by and interview with Herbert Marcuse, and also a forceful denunciation of Marcuse by Yuri Zhukov. No. 13 introduces Structuralism with texts by Jean Poullon, Pierre Bourdieu, Lucien Sebag, and more. No. 14 on theatre and revolution, including an essay by Bertolt Brecht.
