The Reilly & Lee Co. Hardcover. Good. Written by Thompson, but presented (falsely) as though compiled from notes left by Baum; the book was not wholly credited to Thompson until 1985. Copyright 1921, this copy ca 1940s; published after the discontinuation of full-color plates in 1935, and with a gift inscription dated 1945 penned to the ownership page. Green cloth with light edgewear and age-soil, points of fraying to corners. Illustrated title plate scuffed and rubbed. No jacket. Front hinge glued; binding else intact, and is sound through textblock. Prior owner's name written in at the 'This Book Belongs to' page, as described. Interior else clean, lightly toned. Text unmarked. epair to the 'Belongs' and title pages, and tape ghost to rear paste down. Interior else clean, lightly age-toned, text unmarked.
