Comprehensive guide designed for the yachtsman interested in cruising the waters of Baja California from San Diego all the way down to Cabo San Lucas, San Felipe, & all the offshore & oceanic island. SIGNED with an inscription ('Best Wishes for Smooth Sailing") by Peter Ebeling, the racing skipper & yachtsman who did the design, charts, maps, photos, & other illustrations, map endpapers. In 368 pages of text by navigator & skipper Lewis. Orig. published in 1971, this is the Second Impression (printing) of that First Edition from Feb. 1974. Oversized hardcover has deep caramel-colored cloth over boards with gilt lettering to front & spine. Condition is VG: downgraded primarily due to musty odor from storage in garage. Slight insect damage to rear endpaper, light mottling to exterior fore edge, slight rippling to bottom edges, but no damp stains. Else, completely clean, binding straight & strong, pages white. The unclipped DJ is just Fair-Good, with significant edgewear, many small chips, light creases, short tears, rubbing to extremities. Nicely protected now in a new mylar cover free!
