London: William Heinemann Printed at the Ballantyne Press London. Publishers: London: William Heinemann; Philadelphia: J.B. Lippincott Co. No date specified - circa 1911. Green boards, black titles/illustrations on spine and front, 127 numbered pages. Decorated endpapers, attached illustration at frontispiece plus 17 additional tissue-protected attached illustrations. Boards lightly rubbed along edges, tips of lower corners and ends of spine. Small (1/8 inch) frayed hole at head of spine, boards and bottom edge lightly smudged. Rubbed spots along hinge at ffep, pages lightly smudged. Illustrations clean and binding secure. Tissues lightly creased and wrinkled along bottom edge: tissue at page 18 has 3 diagonal creases, tissue at page 26 rubbed through in spots; page 60-61 and covering tissue lightly smudged near bottom of page, but illustration clean; grease mark (1/4 inch) on pages 62-63 near bottom of page; tissue on page 83 torn along bottom, torn piece stuck to page; tissue page 93 covers illustration but missing a vertical strip (.75 inch) along fore edge; tissue at page 107 has thin spot on fore edge. Overall, very good. Protected in mylar wrap. Note: heavy book.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No DJ. Illus. by Robinson, Charles. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
