Laid in is a personal engraved invitation from Menotti to a reception of "The Queen of Spades", May 25, 1977; A Press Conference and Luncheon and an invitation from Mayor Joseph Riley, Jr, Mayor of Charleston to a reception in honor of the United States Ambassador to Ital, May 26, 1977.<br><br>CONDITION: Rust boards, gilt title on spine, pictorial end papers featuring Gian Carlo Menotti listening to an opera. Brown, tan and black designed dust jacket shows shelf wear with tears at top. Fine condition, a collector's volume. Full refund if not satisfied.
