New York: Dial Press, 1935 426 pgs. Ribbed blue cloth with gilt titles and color pictorial pastedown, spine gilt slightly dulled, foxing to top edge and faint spotting to cloth; color pictorial dust jacket with a few short edge tears, foxing on verso. Housed in original publisher's box with full color pictorial pastedown, the box is a bit dust soiled and worn but intact and protected the book rather well. A collection of the writing of Victorian era author, Juliana Horatia Ewing, illustrated by Edna Cooke with 8 full page color plates which are in fine condition. Originally published with Cooke's illustrations in 1920, this is a 1935 reprint which was part of the Child's Own Library series.. Reprint. Pictorial Cover. Very Good/Very Good. Illus. by Edna Cooke. Thick 8vo.
