Dust jacket unclipped, has some age tanning, a little chipping and a tear (1") with tape repair at spine. Cover boards bound with brown cloth, gilt title on spine. Other than a touch of age tanning pages and edges are in excellent shape. Some light (erasable) penciling. In very good condition for its age. Replacing legend with truth, Thomas Quinn Curtiss, drama critic of the Paris Herald Tribune and a long-time friend of Von Stroheim, tells the complete story of this great director's tragic career, life and work for the first time.
