Elephant folio. 54pp. Fine in full rough purple cloth with inset gilt-stamped black leather cover label. Near fine publisher’s clam-shell case with matching spine label. Illustrated with six silkscreen prints by Phoebe Beasley. Eight poems selected by Maya Angelou, who also contributes an introduction and a note on Beasley’s work. Number 87 of 300 numbered copies on Arches paper signed by Beasley and Angelou. Club newsletter specific to this publication present and laid-in. Full refund if not satisfied.
