Chapman and Hall, 1891. First Thus. Leather Binding. Used - Very Good. BEAUTIFULLY BOUND WITH GREAT PROVENANCE. From the Irish Library of the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, William Humble Ward, Second Early of Dudley. This is one of a 124-volume collection of Irish-related titles, uniformly bound by Hatchards for the Earl, in 3/4 dark green morocco over green cloth, spine with raised bands, and six gilt-ruled compartments, enclosing titling and two each of lyre and shamrock designs, covers paneled in gilt, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers (spine faded to brown, minor wear). PROVENANCE: Bookplate of William Humble Ward, Second Early of Dudley, the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, later Governor-General of Australia; bookplate of Robert W. O'Meara.
