Philadelphia: American Sunday-School Union, 1842. Cloth. Good/No Jacket. Small hardcover/ no DJ, about Good condition overall. Original copy- c. 1842, 36 pages, followed by ""Children's Offerings to Heathen Idols"", c. 1846, 24 pages; 6"" x 4"". Contents same as copy in collection of Harvard Univ. library. Appears to be original brown cloth binding w/ stitched text block, trace of stamped round medallions (globe?) on both covers; bit of decoration & faint title ""Tschoop"" on spine (can read in sunlight). Tight copy, good spine- NO hinge splits. Covers scuffed, some soil, surface scratch on back, some edge wear (not severe). Still displays pretty well. Front free endpaper has penned Sunday school library property & ""Just Splendid"" in beautiful 19th century calligraphy. Text bright, unmarked & clean w/ a few scattered brown foxing spots. NO musty smell. Nice representative copy.
