Stitched at left edge. OCLC 430519058 Includes an address by J. H. B. Latrobe in addition to the usual reports on emancipations and repatriations, etc. John Hazelhurst Boneval Latrobe (1803–1891) was an American lawyer and inventor. Latrobe was a long-time supporter of the effort to establish a home in Africa for emancipated slaves. Succeeding Senator Henry Clay, Latrobe served as president of the American Colonization Society from 1853 until his death in 1891. .
