About This Item
First edition, so stated, in the publisher's brown cloth with gilt upper panel illustration and lettering, octavo, pp. 383 plus pp. [2] ads at rear. Previous owner name in a small hand on front pastedown. Spine lettering faded away. FAIR-only owing to a small triangular-shaped loss of the cloth on spine (see our image number 2). Nicks and shelf rubs at spine ends and board tips. Note also that the text contains a derogatory racial term that some readers may find upsetting.
