Toronto: Evangelical Publishers, 1945. Presumed First CDN Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 7 1/2" X 5. Author was Governor of the Island of Malta during an intense Italian bombing campaign during WW II. He received The George Cross along with the island population in recognition of their valor. 124 pp. plus three pp. of publisher advertisements. Book has black text on front and spine, frontis b/w photograph of author. Extremities of book show wear, underlining and few notations in green pencil (thus easily erasable). Book is tight and square. Bookseller's Inventory # 191496.
