Illustrated end papers, 240 pp. Lavishly illustrated with colour photos and reproductions of Marianne North's Botanical illustrations and published in collaboration with the Royal Botanical Gardens Kew which houses the collection. First Edition 1980. The copy offered by us is from the library of the late Pauline Dean herself a botanical illustrator of note and loosely laid in is Kew information sheet K9 giving details of the Marianne North Gallery. Near Fine/ Near Fine (Book- mild general shelf wear to bottom edge of boards, printed name and address label of Pauline Dean as above to free front end paper. Dust Jacket- negligible shelf rubbing and very slight fading to spine supplied in a removable [proprietary protective sleeve. No notable defects to book or jacket).
