Complete in four. Bound by Edmund Worrall with a bookbinder's label to the front pastedown.Bound in half calf with cloth to the boards. This collection of works were written by the popular English poet, Lord Byron. Byron is known as being one of the leading figures of the romantic movement and is considered to be one of the greatest English poets. This set includes his most popular works, including his more lengthy narrative 'Childe Harold's Pilgrimage'. Bound in half calf with cloth to the boards. Externally very smart with slight rubbing to the extremities to 'Vol 1', the odd minor marks to the boards and spines and slight cracking to the leather to the joints. Bookplate belonging to a 'Hannah Walker' and a bookbinder's label to the front pastedowns with the odd minor mark and slight offsetting to the extremities to the extremities of the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean page with very light age toning and the odd spot, heavier to the rear of 'Vol 1'. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
