Prague: eskoslovenský spisovatel, 1969. Later printing. Hardcover. Very good +. Alena Dostálová. 123 pp. Small octavo [19.5 cm]. White cloth over boards with green stamped illustration on front cover and green stamped title on spine. Green satin ribbon page marker laid in, exhibiting some fraying at edges. Cloth and jacket are soiled in some places, original dust jacket has a [2 cm x .25 cm] chip near head of spine on front cover and some small tears near head/tail of spine. Originally published in 1929 and illustrated by his brother, this is apek's departure from political works and journalism into the world of plants. This is his guide to gardening, written and published in the Czech language.
