Pamphlet. vii, 39p., stapled wraps, 5.25x8.5 inches, rear wrap heavily worn, sticker scar on rear wrap, staples rusted, else good condition. Both John Manjiro and Joseph Heco were born in Japan and moved to America after being shipwrecked and rescued by American ships. Heco was the first Japanese person to be naturalized as a U.S. citizen.
