Off-white cloth with red spine and cover titles. Title page has decorative red border. Decorated inital letters in red. Contents: In Memoriam John Birmelin -- The Later Poems of John Birmelin -- Pennsylvania German Folklore: An Interpretation by John Joseph Stoudt -- A List of German Immigrants to the American Colonies from Zweibruecken in the Palatinate 1750-1771 edited by Friedrich Krebs with an Introduction by Don Yoder -- A List of Eighteenth-Century Emigrants from the Canton of Schaffhauen to the American Colonies 1734-1752 edited by Ernst Steinemann with an Introduction by Don Yoder -- In Memoriam Philip Mason Palmer -- 1951 in Pennsylvania German Folklore by Arthur D. Graeff. Former owner's name on front fixed endpaper: "T. C. Tatman." Thomas Cooper Tatman (1917-1996) did graduate work in German philology and taught German at Temple University, Lincoln University, and Friends Select. In Very Good+ Condition: spine and along upper edge of front cover slightly sunned; some pages unopened; clean and bright.
