Paris: Omnifilms, 1959. Draft script for the 1960 film "The Nabob Affair" here under the French title, "Au Voleur!" (translated: Thief!). Written by Sacha Guitry but subsequently reworked by Jean Bernard-Luc, and released after Guitry's death. Laid in are eight pages detailing production, including sets and shooting times, from Sacha Guitry, carbon typescript on onionskin stock, rubber-stamped "Carlton Cole," a talent agency in New York. Also rubber-stamped on the script title page, with a brief notation in manuscript ink. Brief annotations in manuscript pencil throughout.
A mysterious employer hires a man to steal a rare diamond, who in turn engages an attractive and intelligent woman to help him.
Gray untitled wrappers. Title page present, undated. 82 leaves, with last page of text numbered 80. Mechanical duplication. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good, side-stapled.
