Walt Disney Mickey Mouse and Pluto the Pup was published by Collins Clear-Type Press London and Glasgow. The very scarce original Walt Disney Mickey Mouse and Pluto the Pup dust jacket is in a worn and Good condition being mostly complete but with tears and losses. The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse and Pluto the Pup front board has the same design as the dust jacket featuring Mickey Mouse playing with Pluto. The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse and Pluto the Pup back board has the same design as the dust jacket and front board. The boards of the this old Walt Disney Mickey Mouse and Pluto the Pup story book are stunning and in Very Good condition with shelf wear to the corners and the edges of the book. There are 77 numbered pages in this vintage Walt Disney Mickey Mouse story book which are profusely illustrated with black and white Disney illustrations throughout of one page and smaller in size. The front endpapers and rear endpapers have the same double page illustration of Mickey Mouse standing at a doorway and watching Pluto the Pup chase a cat. To the front endpaper there is a "Award of Merit" given by The Daily Herald newspaper to a girl as part of a handwriting competition. This is dated April 1939. Walt Disney Mickey Mouse and Pluto the Pup pages are in overall Very Good condition being age toned and with very occasional spotting.
