New York: McLoughlin Bros, 1889. Chromolithograph printed paper mounted on board with red cloth spine, wear to edges, corner and spine tips, very light internal soil. A large and wonderful alphabet book printed entirely in color and every page mounted on thick board. Each letter of the alphabet is accompanied by a short verse which utilizes the names of boys and girls, except the letter X which is represented by "Extra! Extra!" after the boys who sell newspapers.
