We offer a wide variety of preloved books. Our aim is to supply good quality secondhand books at realistic prices. All orders are processed and dispatched daily.

I specialise in brand new copies of American editions often hard to find in Australian book stores. I also offer a small but hand-picked range of used books.

Dee Why Books opened in 1994 at Dee Why, a suburb on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. The shop was so small, only one person at a time was able to work behind the sales counter. Our reputation for having the right book at the right time at a low price brought us customers from all over Sydney. In January 1996, we combined our small shop in Dee Why with the larger neighbouring shop and created a bookshop with the space our books demanded. At least for a short period of time. In October 1999, we started with a moderate 1234 books on the internet. Today we have around 25'000 book titles online and our website handles many orders each day, locally and internationally. Operating a shop, a warehouse, an office and a store room, all in different places, proved to be very difficult. In February 2001 we bought our new warehouse & office: Dee Why Books, Unit 31, 14 Jubilee Avenue, Warriewood/Sydney NSW 2102, about 25 kilometers from the Sydney CBD, from where we are today operating as an Internet Bookshop only.

Our second-hand book shop is located in Mentone, a bayside suburb in the city of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Our names are Alan and Anne, and we have been trading in the area since 2000. We offer a diverse range of quality used books at reasonable prices. Our motto is \"We understand a good read!\"

Facts and Fiction Bookshop was established during 1995 in the Victorian seaside town of Rosebud ( by the bay ) on the Mornington Peninsula about 100kms south of Melbournes CBD.
Bob and Eileen Haynes purchased the bookshop in August 2000, and have since closed the bookshop and developed the internet side of the business with our new, secondhand, rare & out of print titles.

Hieronymus Books is a recently established online bookselling business. We also operate a brick and mortar bookshop, Tapsell's Books, which is based in Rutherglen, a small country town in North-East Victoria, Australia. Our bookshop (established in 1993) is open  10am to 5pm seven days a week from March to January; but during February we're only open on weekends as even booksellers deserve a break some time. Rutherglen is well worth a visit and is a lovely, unspoilt country town in a famous winegrowing district. We've been selling books on the net since 1996. Established in 1965, we are located in a large first floor area of a building with excellent lighting and amenities. We have taken over the complete floor area, with comprehensive display areas and a viewing area with TV provided for our videos & dvd's.Access for disabled customers is easily achieved via a lift in the building with direct access to the shop.

We specialise in Penguin, Puffin and Pelican books but we also have lots of books on Australiana and other interesting subjects. Most of our books have a picture of the actual book, so you can see what you are paying for!

We have been selling books online since 2005. All our books are stored on our premises in Sydney Australia. We describe our books carefully and will always state when a book is ex-library etc. We are always happy to answer queries by email or phone, and to send further information or images of books, but if phoning please try to email first, so that we can locate your book in our storage area. Customers are welcome to make an appointment to view or pick up books from our premises in Forestville Sydney.
