Folio. 73 pp., plus several pages of plates at the rear. A look at the archaeology and finds at the Arminna West site, discussing the find and their aid in reconstructing the history of Lower Nubia. This includes sections on architecture, stratigraphy, potter and small objects. GOOD condition. Uneven fading and offsetting to the covers. Minor soiling and staining. Some superficial insect wear to the jacket, with a few small holes along the front fore edge hinge. Some chipping along the extremities and spine. Minor fading, bumping and edgewear to the book.

A history of the central Mexico area from preconquest, offering a native's perspective by the author Domingo de San Anton Munon Chimalpahin Quauhtlehuanitzin. The manuscripts from this translations comes were discovered in the Bible Society's library in 1983. VERY GOOD condition. Minor toning and soliing to the covers.

Text in English and Spanish. 10 color photo pages and 9 pages of text, printed on both sides, one in English, one Spanish. A visual survey of the indigenous Muisca culture of the Columbia region of South America, accompanied by translations/interpretations of many of their myths. The photos show the Muisca metal craftsmanship, with the mythology offering insight into their ancient culture and traditions. GOOD condition. Moderate fading and scuffing to the folder, with heavy creasing and bumping along the extremities. Minor soiling. Some bumping to the corners of the pages.

A detailed history and survey of ancient Greek or Hellenistic art spanning from 350 to 50 BC, and including studies of wall paintings, mosaics, statues and reliefs, etc. GOOD condition. Moderate toning to the jacket, with areas of staining and soiling to the rear panel. Moderate to heavy scuffing along the extremities. Several large chips and tears along the edges. Minor toning, soiling and edgewear to the book. Minor toning to the paper.

A continuation of a history of ancient Rome, starting with the expedition of Caesar against the Gauls, and discussing other subsequent invasions, battles and wars. GOOD. Heavy chipping and superficial loss to the leather along the hinges. Some scuffing and minor loss of leather to the covers. Rear cover faded and somewhat discolored. Extremities scuffed. Bookplate removed from inside front cover.
