Paris: France Cinema Productions, 1962. Original scenario with dialogue script for the 1962 film, here under the French title and also the title "Venus Imperiale." Notations on several pages in manuscript ink and pencil, and a few typed corrections.
Based on Annette Wademant's screenplay, one of twelve recorded screenplays written by Wademant for director Boisrond.
Bernard (Poiret) is a new publisher who falls in love with Sophie (Saval), but their foolish love nearly destroys them and his job.
Unbound carbon typescript. Title page present, undated, noted as "Scenario et dialogues," with credits for director Boisrond and screenwriter Wademant. 224 leaves, with last page of text numbered 224. Pages and folder Very Good plus.
