London: George G. Harrap & Co. 1934, 2nd printing. (Hardcover) 651pp. Near fine in very good dust jacket. Burgundy cloth with bevelled edges and armorial device in gilt. With 31 illustrations in photogravure, 3 facsimiles of documents, and 76 maps and plans (some fold-outs), bibliography, index. A small dampstain near the fore-edge of the front board, a previous owner's stamp on the fore-edges, and the dust jacket has minor edgewear. Book about Duke of Marlborough. (History--England, History--England).
