Toronto: Grip Printing and Publishing Co. 1886. (Hardcover) 531pp. Very good, no dust jacket. Green cloth with bevelled edges, gilt lettering and illustration of a mounted soldier. Pale green patterned endpapers, 6 plates plus color folding map, appendix, list of officers and men. The covers are lightly worn, the spine is cocked and has a small stain, the back inner hinge is cracked, there is a previous owner's inscription in pencil inside, and the endpapers are tanned along the edges, otherwise the covers are bright. Book about Louis Riel. [Peel 884]. Locale: Prairie Provinces; Western Canada. (Western Canada, North West Rebellion).
