Iordan Ivanov (1872-1947) was a Bulgarian literary historian, archaeologist, and one of the topmost experts on Bulgarian medieval history. He was also a Professor at the University of Sofia and the National School of Oriental Languages in Paris and one of the founders of the Bulgarian National Archeological Institute.
