London: The Hakluyt Society, 1979. Hardcover. First edition in English: xii, 206p., illustrated with one folded route map, a family tree, a portrait, and a sketch of the Holy Shroud. Hardbound in Hakluyt's blue cloth boards gilt & blind and enclosed in the dust jacket. Top edge of casing bears a few nearly imperceptable spots of foxing, dj some pale foxing to top edge of flaps and to verso. Perfectly sound, otherwise clean, absolutely unmarked, a very good copy. Second series no. 150.
