National Hockey League, 1964, 1969, 1976, 1976. Three volume set, deluxe numbered limited edition in black leather, and matching slipcases, gilt decorations and spine titles, as issued. Scarce set. Volumes I and II are matching numbers (637). Volume III is #913. All three texts are Nearly Fine to Fine. Volume III has an owner's name inside. Volume I has a very tattered acetate dj. Volume II has a superb acetate dj with very light wear to corners. Volume III has no dust jacket, as published All three slipcases are in Very Good to Nearly Fine condition. Volume I has a signed presentation letter from Clarence Campbell dated 1967, "To Friends of Hockey in Sports Media" on publication of Volume I on the 50th anniversary of the NHL. There is also a presentation book plate affixed to the front endpaper with NHL logo stating "Presented to Al Laney with the Compliments of the National Hockey League". Mr. Laney was an author and sports journalist with New York Evening Mail and New York Herald Tribune. His bio can be found on Wikipedia. Photos available upon request.. 1st. Full-Leather.
