Five page glossary, 5 page list of sources and a 5 page index. Fr. Deiss describes this book as being an extensive revision of his "Aux sources de la liturgie" of 1963 with a large part of that revision being the addition of sections on the Jewish liturgy and further contributions from Clement of Rome, Melito of Sardis and Cyril of Jerusalem. Small closed tear in the fore edge of the back cover, else the book is very clean and showing minmal wear. .

Blue cloth with a faux leather finish over boards with gilt lettering on the spine. One marker ribbon set into the headband as issued. The text of the various liturgies is rubricated. Five indices (or "table") at the back: "Table biblique", "Table des psaumes", "Table des préfaces", "Table des chants" and lastly "Table générale". Folowing these indices is a two page spread "En cas d'extrême urgence" with 5 entries. It is worthwhile to list the contents: "L'Initiation Chrétienne", "L'Euchariste", "Le Mariage", "L'Ordre". "Les Ministères Institués", "La Réconciliation", "L'Onction des Malades", "La Mort dans le Christ", "Les Funérailles", "Lectionnaire" et "Chants". The book itself show very minor wear thought the front free end paper has been removed. The dust jacket has wear to the edges and 3 closed tears that have been tape repaired on the inside. .
