Circus in the Jungle.

By Trez, Denise and Alain. Trez, Denise and Alain (illus).

Cleveland, Ohio.: World Publishing Company.. 1958. Stated First edition.. Color lithograph illustrations throughout, unpaginated, 11 x 8 1/2 inches, pictorial cloth-covered boards (hardbound) IN COLOR PICTORIAL DUSTJACKET. Very good condition: fine copy in dustjacket with a few small edge tears and one small chip. First edition is stated on the copyright page. The dust jacket has a '$3.00' price and code 004-008 on front flap. The publishing history of this book is elusive as other copies have been described with First Edition on the copyright page and dust jacket prices of 2.75 and 2.96. Possibly the publisher was not distinguishing between different issues of the first edition, it seems likely that the current copy with a $3.00 price is not a first issue of the first edition. Wonderful color lithograph illustrations - bright and boldly designed. .
